We have made the game for something called "Palles Gavebod" in Denmark.
It is a website for all the kid libraries in Denmark. When the kids visit their site, they do not come back to the site and that is was our game is suppose to do. To get kids on the website to come back to the website and not just visit it one time.
So how was our approach to it?
Well we know that kids love fun and they at that age want to be social. We also know that they are very competitive.
So we needed to get those thing into our game. We have tried to make it as fun as possible and we have highscores in our game. Everything in our menu, has some sort of feedback, so that the kids are never bored. The game is as fun and challenging as we could do it.
What are we missing?
We didn't get everything, we wanted into our game, but we tried to get as much we could into the game we have now.
There is no tutorial for kids, when they start to play the game, we didn't get the time to implement it in the game. That is one of the major flaws in our game, but we are hopefully not done yet.
We want to make the game and get everything we want into the game, so that the game is finish and get out in the real world to be played by many kids in Denmark.
How far are we now and our goals?
We have created most of our menu, 4 levels, highscores and a lot more.
There is just so much to be added for our game to get all the things that it needs to get, to be the best game for kids ever.
Cause that is our goal, we may not reach it, but we want our game to be fun to the kids and that the kids want to play it again and again and again.
If we can get the kids to do that, then we are satisfied with our game. Then the game is as it is suppose to be.
